2021 Easter Message from Pastor Alice

Dear CFTN Family,

Christ is risen!  He is risen indeed!  He lives and reigns forevermore.
On Easter Sunday, we celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection.  His life, burial and glorious resurrection acknowledge God’s New Covenant for His people.  In Christ’s resurrection, darkness is revealed by light, death by eternal life, despair by hope and sin by forgiveness.  This is a day of complete victory, “death is destroyed and victory is complete!” (1 Corinthians 15.54)
Jesus is the true message of Easter. Salvation and eternal life are available to everyone who believes and accepts Jesus as their Savior.  The resurrection of Jesus reinforces the message:  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Even in the darkest and challenging times, we can have hope because of our relationship with Jesus.  There are powerful testimonies especially during this long Covid-19 pandemic of God’s mighty healing power and supernatural protection.  Glory to God!
For a lot of people, the pandemic has brought them to know and accept Jesus as their Savior.  For others, it strengthened their relationship with Him more than ever before.  As a church, although we have not been able to meet physically, it has brought us closer through steadfast prayer as a church family. Alleluia!

I encourage you and your family to continue your daily walk with Jesus through prayer and scripture meditation and application upon our lives.   With the resurrection power of Jesus Christ in us, we shall overcome fear and uncertainty.  Because He lives, CFTN Family can face tomorrow.  Because Christ lives, we walk in victory!  Let us stand together as a church family and declare our unity of faith and hope in the Risen Savior.  “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Praise and give thanks to Him on this Easter and always.

God bless you and your family,

Pastor Alice Philip
