Christmas Message from Pastor

Dear CFTN Family,

Christmas has a very special meaning for mankind.  Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus was born in a manger and thereby made Himself accessible to all who would come to Him.
This divine manifestation of the birth of Jesus was made to the shepherds who searched for Him earnestly with love from their humble and honest hearts.  They then went back to their flocks and brethren “glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” (Luke 2:20)
When Jesus came into the world, it was dark – full of sin, hatred, fear and negativity.  Yet, there were signs of hope.  The birth of Jesus brought light to darkness.
Because of Jesus Christ, we are able to have a relationship with God and gain salvation. We are set free from the bondage of sin and live righteously according to God’s purpose.
This year has been very challenging with the Covid-19 pandemic for our families and communities around the world.  Let’s continue to pray for God’s protection and healing over people affected by the virus and their families, our frontline and community workers, retail and restaurant workers, government leaders, colleagues, friends and so many people reaching out for help.
The pandemic has made us reflect on our lives.  So many people have turned to Jesus for salvation.  Christmas is the beginning of a true story of love, joy, peace, salvation, reconciliation and goodwill.
Jesus is the light of the world. (John 8:12) Let His light shine in us and through us in this season.  We are blessed and we praise Him!
Together with our CFTN Council, I pray that you and your families will experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ, today and always.
Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14
Merry Christmas!
