Christmas Message 2023 (EN)

Dear CFTN family,

Christmas is a joyous celebration as we remember Jesus coming into this world 2,000 years ago.  He was born in Bethlehem, lived and gave His life for our salvation. “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)

For many people, Christmas is a time for year-end holidays, shopping for loved ones, sending greeting cards to those near and far, and a schedule filled with festivities.

Without Christ, there is no Christmas.  We do not know the exact day that Jesus was born but December 25 is a unique and special day in our hearts to praise and worship Him for coming into this world for all of us.  Without Christ, there would be no salvation, hope, peace and eternal life.

This Christmas, let us spread the light of Jesus throughout the world so that everyone can experience His unconditional love and redemption.  Let us continue to pray now and throughout the new year for God’s grace, healing and protection over those suffering from the impact of war, financial difficulties, family and marital problems, loneliness, fear and other challenges.  Jesus brings peace and hope to those who look to Him. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)

During this Christmas, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, if you have not already.  We would like to invite you to our Sunday church service to experience the goodness of Jesus Christ in your life.

Together with our CFTN Council.  I pray that you and your families will experience the love of Jesus Christ, today and throughout the new year.  May you be blessed abundantly.

Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
