Easter Message 2023 from Pastor Alice [EN]

Dear CFTN Family,

He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.  Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
(Matthew 28:6)
He is Risen!  Easter is a time for recommitting our lives and giving thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Jesus suffered and died on the cross and rose again on the third day.  He bore the weight of our sins so that we could have salvation and eternal life.  Easter is the reminder that because Jesus is alive, we can live everyday with power that can overcome any challenges.  In our moments of discouragement, He gives us encouragement.
As Christians, many of us have shared testimonies of how Jesus Christ brought hope in our lives, when there seemed to be no hope.  Because of Jesus’ love for us, we are able to experience joy and peace.  We are able to have a relationship with Him - our Almighty Counsellor, Healer, Protector, Way Maker and Miracle Working God.  He brings light to our darkest days.
In the violent and distressing world that we live in today, hope seems so far away at times, especially to those who are victims, or are loved ones, that experienced tragedy.  We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ grant us peace, strength and hope in the midst of suffering from wars, civil unrest, medical and physical ailments, and emotional strongholds.  As Christians, hope is one of important gifts we can give to the world today.
Easter brings hope!  Jesus’ resurrection gives us hope of a better life now and forever.  In Christ’s glorious resurrection, ``death is destroyed and victory is complete.``  (1 Corinthians 15:54).
I encourage you today, to reach out and spread the goodness that Jesus brought into your life with a friend, colleague, family member, or someone in your community so that they may be richly blessed.
As we stand together on Easter Sunday, let us proclaim:  Alleluia!  Christ is risen - He is risen indeed.  Alleluia!  Place your faith in the risen Savior.  Let the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ continue to manifest upon your lives!
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  (Romans 15:13)

God bless you and your family.
