CFTN's Vision
“A Spirit filled Church Transforming Lives Through Christ’s Love ”
At Church For The Nations (CFTN), we envision a vibrant, Spirit-filled community that reflects the heart of God, where people from every nation and background encounter His love and transformative power.
Our vision is to see lives renewed, families restored, and communities empowered through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to be a beacon of hope in Geneva and to the ends of the earth, sharing God’s grace with the broken, the lost, and the searching. As Isaiah 61:1 proclaims, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
We aim to cultivate a culture of worship, discipleship, and service, raising up leaders to spread the good news, both locally and globally. By being a church that embraces diversity, unity, and compassion, we believe we can change the world—one life, one family, one nation at a time.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the Word of God and that the Holy Scriptures were revealed through the divine inspiration of the Old and New Testaments.
God is Spirit; that Jehovah (YHWH) is God of the Old and New Testaments and is the one true God, the creator of heaven and earth, who revealed Himself as the eternally self-existing “I AM” and who further revealed Himself as God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The sinfulness of mankind since the fall of man requires SALVATION by grace through faith in God and redemption through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ, Immanuel, God with us:
- is our Savior, Redeemer and Lord and is the only way to the one true God and Father of all;
- is the Son of God, the only begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary;
- is the Son of Man as to His human nature, God manifested in the flesh and in Him dwell all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
- died on the cross as a substitute and perfect sacrifice for our redemption from the penalty of sin which is eternal death;
- was bodily resurrected and sits at the right hand of God as our advocate and intercessor;
- is coming again to rule and reign upon the earth with His redeemed, the Church, the Body of Christ.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the living God:
- proceeding from the Father and the Son.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
