Reminder of the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Description
Dear CFTN Family,
He is risen! This is a very special day of rejoicing and glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. As Christians, Easter is the cornerstone of our Christian faith.
“Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and
the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an
angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the
door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.
And the guards shook for the fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel
answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who
was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen as He said. Come, see the place where the
Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed
He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.” So
they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples
word.” (Matthew 28:1-8)
Easter is a reminder of the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross. He triumphed over sin and
death. “Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live
even though they die.” (John 11:25)
We are able to experience the fullness of joy and eternal life because of Jesus’ sacrifice
for humanity on the Cross. Alleluia!
There is no trail that Jesus has not already borne on the Cross. There is no brokenness
that cannot be redeemed by His resurrection. Christ makes all things new.
Let Him make your heart new this Easter season. Let joy permeate through every aspect
of your life. When you find yourself at peaks in your life, praise Him. When you find
yourself in the depths of the sea, praise Him.
God is able to change every situation. Nothing is impossible for our Almighty God! His
love and joy is available to all humanity today and always.
As a church, I encourage you to share the good news of Jesus with a friend, colleague,
family member or someone you meet in your community so that they too may experience
the fullness of joy today and forever.
Let the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ continue to shine brightly upon your lives.
God bless you and your family.
