Sunday School

“Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the Kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, ‘Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein” (Luke 18: 16-17).

The goal of Sunday School is to contribute to the physical, social and spiritual development of children.

Objectives to achieve the goal are to:

1) facilitate children to acquire basic knowledge about God, Jesus Christ and salvation;

2) help in leading and supporting the children to decide to accept Jesus Christ as their savior as they attend Sunday School and participate in various activities;

3) equip children with knowledge and skills to use in spreading the gospel and contributing to the welfare of society.

Sunday School welcomes and teaches children who are 4 to 13 years old from different nations and backgrounds. Lessons are provided in both English and French. In addition, there is a crèche for babies. Each class has a team of teachers working together with assistance from “Torrents of Life” (the Youth Ministry for CFTN).

CFTN members who are interested in sharing their knowledge and passion for the Lord are encouraged to join the Sunday School Ministry.
