COVID-19 update

Dear CFTN family,

I would like to thank all of you for your fervent prayers during the Covid-19 pandemic throughout Switzerland and the rest of the world.  I am grateful that as a church family we continue to be united in our daily prayers.  “No evil plague shall come near our dwelling.” (Psalm 91:10)

As of Sunday, 15 March 2020 church services were not held in the CFTN Sanctuary.  We followed the advisory by the Federal Swiss government that during the Covid-19 outbreak, all religious services be discontinued.  The Pastoral team is continually providing prayer points for families to pray at home for God’s divine protection upon CFTN families, Switzerland and all countries affected by this pandemic.

During this time, I pray that you and your families at home in Geneva and wherever they may be will remain healthy and protected by the blood of Jesus.

This is a time that we must also pray as a church family, that:  our children and youth are able to concentrate thoroughly and efficiently perform their online classes and assignments; seniors and others requiring assistance are not isolated and have support with their basic and spiritual needs; wisdom and knowledge will be provided to medical personnel and community health and humanitarian workers so that they may bring comfort and needed medical attention to those affected by the virus; and that medical research will soon find a vaccine to combat this pandemic and that no more lives will be lost.

Let’s continue to unite our hearts together in prayer.  I would encourage you to pray with your family and join others in prayer. There are a number of Ministries meeting together online to pray.  Feel free to join them too.

We shall overcome this pandemic in the Mighty Name of Jesus.  Continue to praise Him.

Stay safe and healthy.  God bless you and your families.

Pastor Alice
